Clinical study to investigate the formulation of PROFERTIL® female
The Impact of a Standardized Oral Multinutrient Supplementation on Embryo Quality in in vitro Fertilization/Intracytoplasmic Sperm Injection: A Prospective Randomized Trial
Study objectives
Primary objective of this pilot study was to determine the effect of PROfertil® female (compared to 400 mcg of folic acid) in women undergoing IVF in terms of embryo quality.
As a secondary objective of the study, the clinical pregnancy rate was evaluated.
Outcome parameters
- Embryo quality on day 3 after oocyte retrieval (good quality vs. poor quality) and
- Clinical pregnancy rate.
